EAT! Co-Director and Small Farm Apprenticeship Program Mentor Patrick Mitchell.
For the past decade, Patrick has taken a hands-on role in various market scale farm operations including growing and marketing culinary herbs, citrus, diversified vegetables and specialty crops.
Patrick is a scholar of the relationship between nature and culture, and believes deeply in the transformative power of putting one’s hands in the soil.

Your Mentor for this Workshop will be San Diego Seed Company's Jeff Dillow
Jeff and his wife Rachel are raising their 2 young sons (and a few cats) in an intentional community in San Diego. The son of a science teacher, Jeff has always been amazed with the natural world, and couldn’t be happier at the chance to teach gardening through the San Diego Seed Company YouTube Channel.
Jeff cut his teeth in zone 5 in Indiana, but he's fallen in love with Zone 10b. His favorite winter crop is sugar snap peas, and summer is any slicer cucumber---Jeff says "I’m a sucker for a trellis I guess. Let's get growing!"
